Although it only takes us 70 - 85 minutes to get there from Howler Monkey Lodge we'll spend all day there.

one of the many skulls you'll see on this Belize Adventure

What to bring:

A pair of socks, Tennis shoe/booty preferable (with teva's you may stump your toe), An extra shirt to wear inside the chamber (only if you think you'll get cold), A big serving of that Belize adventure spirit, mosquito repellant. If you can't swim at least 20 feet, please tell us so we can provide you with floatation.

What to expect:

We hike for approx. 45 mins. through the rainforest crossing Roaring creek 3 times.  Water is knee high. We arrive at the picnic area where we leave water bottles and any unneccessary item. There we are issued helmets and headlights. Last stop for restroom. We then enter the cave with a short swim and hike upstream until we get to the chamber. At this point we take off our shoes leaving only socks on. At which time you will be given back your camera/shirt from the dry bag. Approx. time inside the cave -3 hours. Then we do it all over again in reverse.
